  • Starting MBA program in the fall

I'm happy to announce that I will be starting an MBA program in the fall!  I was accepted to the Babson Fast Track Program and will be starting in early October. Wow!

I will be studying new and traditional business management as well as learning new entrepreneurial skill sets that the Babson Fast Track program is known for and the reason they are ranked #1 in country for this type of MBA program.

I will continue my current role of Audio Director in Central Media at Microsoft while attending the program so the next couple of years will be exciting, busy and challenging--just the way they should be!

Learn more about Babson here:  http://www.babson.edu/Pages/default.aspx  -- an innovative MBA program.

I'm excited to being this new journey and I look forward to meeting my cohorts!

  • Time to talk about what I've been doing!

We (as in Microsoft Gaming) has finally made an official announcement about some of the new products I’ve been working on.

Now I can finally share it with you all!

One of the projects I’m working on involves non other than National Geographic: http://gizmodo.com/5851023/kids-swiping-and-leaping-around-nature-with-national-geographic-on-kinect

We've also launched a Sesame Street product that is very cool for Kniect for Xbox 360. The upcoming “Kinect Sesame Street TV” experience, will be on sale in the spring (2012). It is a true interactivity to the classic children’s TV show. Viewers will be invited to jump into Sesame Street and play... very fun stuff!  http://www.microsoft.com/Presspass/Features/2011/oct11/10-18KinectPlayfulLearning.mspx

    Xbox 360 is Transforming!

As Frank X. Shaw , Corporate Vice President, Corporate Communications, Microsoft, posted on his blog just the other day: Easy"two-way interaction creates entirely new forms of TV entertainment, and nowhere is that more apparent than on Xbox 360."  Read more: http://blogs.technet.com/b/microsoft_blog/archive/2011/10/18/kinect-amp-xbox-360-break-through-the-fourth-wall-with-sesame-street-amp-national-geographic.aspx

And as GREGORY FERENSTEIN writes for Fast Company: "Xbox is unveiling a sharp idea for the next generation of television: interactive, live-action content, produced in partnership Sesame Workshop and National Geographic. Downloadable, linear episodes run like a normal television show but give children opportunities to play simple games with familiar characters and don virtual costumes that mold to their bodies and play around with the show's environment. "

I’m super excited to continuing to work to produce these new kinds of experiences for our young people!  Stay tuned!

My son Harvey is going to lose his mind when he sees this game for the first time!
